Billy Starr or um not....

So I just finished "band" practice with Mr. Fitness. That's right. We have made a band. No name yet. Though there are several out there that we just can't commit to yet. So far it is just cover songs. Johnny Cash, Lenny Kravitz and Adele (really a Bob Dylan cover) to name a few...also threw in some Nirvana and Pearl Jam but didn't come up with any keepers yet. Chad is writing some stuff so maybe we can throw in some original work in between the actual good songs.

Rock on!

Cross-eyed and buck toothed

Dear Blog, it's been a long time. How are you? I am swell. How's the weather? That's good. Oh, yes the weather here is splendid indeed. What? Well, of course I don't hate you. I try to blog as often as I can. No, please stop crying Blog. I love you. Here's a tissue and a great big hug. If I post some pictures on here will it make you stop crying? Okay. Good.

My brother and I. I love him to pieces - wish we were closer. I don't really like this picture of myself and it's blurry but Corey is grinning!

This is what he normally looks like in pictures LOL:

With Corey's newest dog. He loved me.

My daddy. No telling what he is talking about in this picture. He's the best daddy in the world. He's wearing the new Braves hat I got him.

I love this picture of me and my mom. I think she misses me:

Jazzy!
Ariyah has the best smile:

Jasmine with the Easter present we got her. I love this face!:

Ariyah finally let Chad hold her. It was like "oh yeah, NOW, I remember you":

I'll be loving you FOR-EEEEEVVVERRRRR

Had a very busy but good week.

Work is going very well. We had a big cocktail reception in a very NICE part of Stuart called Sailfish Point to tell people about my organization in hopes they will help us complete the capital campaign $ goal. These homes are amazing and are $10 million dollar homes, if not more. It's craziness! The home was at the point of the Sailfish Point with amazing oceans views, and a jetty and an elevator and 20 foot ceilings! Wow!

We are going to Orlando for the weekend to see my second cousin, Dwight and Mark. I'm super excited! He says I saw him when I was ten but I don't remember. He looks a lot like my dad! And he says I look like my grandmother (my dad's mom) so that is the biggest compliment ever. And, I am named for her - Marie - so that compliment is just icing on the cake. We are also planning a trip to IKEA - Mr. Fitness is an IKEA virgin so this will be fun!

Maybe I'll have some good pics to post on Sunday.

We decided we are coming to Birmingham over Memorial Day weekend. And unfortunately, we will not be there long enough to see NKOTB that Friday. You've got the right stuff, baby. I was struggling with homesickness the first of this week. I think because I was thinking about Easter and what we were gonna do for Easter. Typically, that meant spending it with my family. So, I was so homesick so bad! Sniff, sniff - but my heart doesn't ache much anymore.
