I swear I was a good girl this year!

So Mr. Fitness and I celebrated Christmas together this past weekend. We typically never go "all out" or anything like that. In fact, we never have since we have been married and it's varied on buying each other four or five things or one big thing and always with a monetary limit depending on our financial status of that year. Well, this year we didn't really do any of that. I just sent him a list and he sent me a list and we just went from there.

Here are a few highlights:

Introducing Moustachio. I will bet money that this will not be the last time you see him:

Oh what fun! Mr. Fitness and I will be going to see BB King and Buddy Guy (apparently some famous blues people) in Melbourne in February. Mr. F says I will leave a blues fan (as I'm not so much right now). OH THE SACRIFICES I MAKE.

And my ultimate fave that I have worn every single day since. This is LoMo - her real name was Erika but *hell-o* she doesn't look like an Erika. She's made out of Swarovski crystals and I adore my 'lil robot.

And just for an added bonus (for you? or me?) here are some updated photos of our cozy townhouse:

Hysterical

This makes me laugh out loud so hard my tummy hurts.

Here Comes the Sun

I cannot get Beatles songs OUT OF MY HEAD.

For two reasons. One, because I've been crocheting away on making my daddy some Beatles amigurumis and naturally, you hum or sing any Beatles song that comes to your head at the time. For me, it's been Imagine but Mr. Fitness likes to point out that "that's not a Beatles song!" but it sooooo counts so WHATEVER.

Two, because we attended the Winter Performance at Jacob's school and it was called "All You Need is Love" and they all did Beatles songs. Jacob's class did Here Comes the Sun with motions and everything! No jazz hands though, darn it.

Here's a sneak peek at my cute lil ammies. I've had so much fun figuring them out.

Here's the inspiration photo:

This is Paul but I think I need to cut his hair more. Will wait until I do the others though.

Two guesses who this is - his moustache is hard so I plan to work on that and his hair next! These little guys are definitely a work in progress and I'm not sure I'm keeping these glasses on Johnny here.

Love, love, love...all you need is love.
I think if the world actually listens to the words to this song and just loved people it would truly make all the difference in our happiness and the happiness of others.
And, everytime I hear this song it reminds me of the wedding scene in Love Actually. My third favorite Christmas movie...and there's nudity in it so nothing says Christmas like boobs and a tush, right?
P.S. My first favorite Christmas movie is One Magic Christmas with Mary Steenburgen from 1985 - it's an "updated" take on It's a Wonderful Life but different...
My second fave is Elf. And guess what? I love you! I love you! I looooooovvvveeee you!

Hallow-Thanks-Mas

It's the Trifecta of Holidays.

It's Chuckles (Liz) and Pebbles (me) on Halloween....

Bubbles (Chad) and -----les (Joe) on Halloween...

Yes I totally made this for Thanksgiving and it was yummy and look how amazing it looks!

The Thanksgiving table....how awesome is it to have Thanksgiving dinner outside?

Meet the Pilgrims and grimes....

Chad with an elevator shaft on his head and Jacob...

Oh it was absolutely wonderful!

I believe the tree was up on like day 5 of our move. I always like to get it up early because you get to cherish it longer.

Stockings hung on the bookcase with care by bobble-head snowmen, with hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there!

I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas...

Probably my ultimate favorite Christmas item. We bought this our first Christmas when we went to the Christmas Village with Vance and Sherry. They bought one too but different colored hat and scarf.

Happy Halloween,
Happy Thanksgiving
and Happy Christmas!
Oh yeah and Happy SEC Championship baby! Woo doggie!

Life Across the Street

First, I have to say that I did finally find my camera cord and the darn thing had 211 pictures to upload. I have SOOOOOO much to show you but in little bitty nibbles.

Here is the madness before the calm...we're still waiting on the calm part.

Mr. Fitness pretty much organized the kitchen himself and I have to say he did a mighty fine job, but I still know where the butter is without having to ask. Ah. Men.

Ain't that the truth, Pepito:

Yah, all cleaned up and decorated!

The artwork was originally above our bed but now it has a new home:

Little niche beside the tv/media console:

Awww, even the monchichis are happy in their new home:

View from kitchen/hallway:

It doesn't look like this now but there was a period where it was all nice and neat:

The bar side:

The living room is definitely a work in progress. We tried to hang curtains on Sunday but the darn wall is concrete! Maybe next weekend.

No pictures of the upstairs yet though those rooms are coming along. Maybe I can tackle them this weekend.

I couldn't remember why I was excited about having a bathtub (from my last post) but now I remember. I now can shave my legs without using my muscle to hold my leg up in the air. Do you even know who dangerous that is with a razor blade AND I've been missing spots for a whole year!
