What a great Christmas present! We closed - sign, sealed and delivered on Christmas Adam! We are no longer homeowners; we are renters! Yah! Props to BT for taking the pic of the sold sign for me.

I'm now beginning to get into the Christmas spirit. A little shopping (for other people), a Poincetta plant, some Christmas music and a glass of sangria will do it. I only put up a few decorations and the tree. Typically, I decorate just about the entire house but that just seems a little overwhelming since I'm still unpacking boxes. On the brightside, I only have....wait, let me go count....okay back...that's 12 more boxes to go! I have to admit it looks a little strange to see my little snowman that Mr. Fitness bought our first Christmas with V and my sis n law (they have one too in a different colored hat and scarf) sitting on the tv and then look to see the ocean too. Hehe. It still floors me that I see a guy dressed up in a Santa suit riding a Harley and here I am in capris, tank and flip flops. I wonder if we'll ever get used to that.

So, speaking of Mr. F, he'll be here on Friday! Yippee! Talk about counting down the days! The closing on the house will be on Wednesday (crosses fingers, and legs, and toes and eyes!).

I've been watching Christmas movies all day on the Hallmark channel or FaLaLaLa Lifetime. Since when did Mario Lopez and Melissa Joan Hart make a cute couple? That was the weirdest and cutest movie. But Mario is some yummy dipply eye candy. Have I mentioned I haven't seen Mr. Fitness in like 2 weeks?

Mr. Fitness has only been trying to get her to do this since she was born...no kidding...how cute is this...and her supergirl outfit just makes it....I love my Jazzy - she, along with her lil sis, totally have my heart.

So, i finally have the internet! yah! and I hooked up the wireless tonight so now I'm good to go - it's super fast! Here are some pics of the place and the move...I'll take some new pics probably over the weekend of my unpacking progress....ugh.....

What's does a job, a house and food poisoning have in common?

Okie dokie - well Mr. Fitness was offered a job, we got an offer on our house and I got food poisoning from an exclusive resort all in one day!

Mr. Fitness accepted the offer and in January will be a middle school and high school History teacher.

After a counter-offer and a counter offer back and another counter offer, we have a contract on our house. It's exciting but hard to get too excited since you really never know until you are signing on the dotted line on closing day, which by the way will be a week from Friday if all goes well. OMG.

And I attended a luncheon at an exclusive resort that sent me reeling for the john - i think it was the raw tuna....see Mr. F: I go and "try new things" and this is what happens! Granted I have broadened my food horizons but jeez that was not fun. Not a good three days.

So, now it's the waiting game AGAIN on confirming the closing blah blah blah.

The lease on the new place begins on Dec 1 - so wow talk about perfect timing? Looks like we will literally be moving in on day one - so not what the plan was...

You know me, the planner. I told my bestie that I needed a real analytical person to help me figure out all these plans now. any takers? Yeah didn't think so. UGH. But that's a good ugh. haha

First Post of November

Wow am I a blog slacker or what? So my trip to the Ham was great - and extremely short. I'm not exactly sure how I got home on Sunday night since I was exhausted and I had to drive an hour from the airport. The turbulance on the plane to West Palm was horrible - and I kept falling asleep and being jerked back into conscienceness by the plane going back and forth - UGH.

The week went by very fast, which I was extremely greatful for since Mr. F and Dutchie (my friend) were driving down Thursday for a long weekend!

We've had a great time this weekend. I worked half a day on Friday and meet Dutchie and Mr. F at the beach. Mr. Fitness and I went furniture shopping all day on Saturday. We were going to go to IKEA but we weren't sure we would be back in time for the LSU/Alabama game. AND, since Mr. F is a huge LSU fan and I'm an Alabama fan for life - then it was surely a game not to be missed (and may I add here ROLL FREAKIN TIDE - what a game!). So, we stayed in the area and shopped and shopped and shopped.

Our New Home

Okay so I've been wanting to post something about this for a month. I didn't want to jinx it or anything in case it didn't work out.....but I found out this morning that we are approved for a beachfront condo!

It's gorgeous. It's in Jensen Beach on Hutchinson Island and the owners are moving to a different complex that allows dogs. Since the housing market really sucks here (you think its bad in The Ham - uh no) and especially for the upper end market like a beachfront condo - they decided to lease. They never even marketed it since I had already been in touch with the realtor for a separate condo that wasn't for us - I told him what we wanted and voila! he had the "perfect place" for us - and he did not lie. So, on December 1, 2008, the place is ours for 365 days! Woo Hoo!

It's on the 10th floor. There are two heated pools, gas grills, spa, sun bathing deck, pool table, gym, tennis courts and car wash (to wash the sand and salt off your car of course).

long week

no, i haven't fallen off the face of the earth. It was just a really long week last week with our big event on Friday! Though it was one of the most stressful times in my life it turned out to be a great event.

The Spinners did a great job and my boss and I hung out with the band for a bit afterwards so that was neat. When I came home my baby was waiting on me! It was so awesome to have Mr. F here for the weekend!

I was able to show him the condo we may be leasing - I will find out for sure tomorrow in the am so if that happens then you should look forward to some pics showing the place off - it's super nice! We went to Oktoberfest in downtown Stuart which was really lame so we just went to Duffy's (a sports bar) to watch the rest of the LSU game and hang out. We also went to this cool EarthTones store, where we have been several times - they have a door mat that says "nice underwear" hahaha.

We went to the beach and just spent the entire weekend together. He had an "interview" on Sunday and it went really well. I think they want to hire him and he's really excited about it.

We've even had a lot of activity on our house this week so maybe we will hear some good news about that in the next few days - that would be nice!

Although it sucks that I had to drop him off this evening, I will see him three days! I'll be in THE HAM this weekend! woooo hooooo! Sweet Home Alabama! It's a short trip but it will be fun!
