Let the Countdown Begin

Hi folks.

So, everyone I can think to tell knows about OHC and the fact that it's actually going to happen.

Mostly everyone's first question is "why?" and my response is "why not?"

The countdown has officially begun. I have 10 days exactly as an Alabamian. With this thought in mind, every time I see something with 'Alabama' on it I want it so badly. It's like if I don't have something that says Alabama I will forget that I'm from Alabama and all the goodies that go along with that. It's not true but my mind does go there. I did buy a new Alabama football shirt. Boy, am I going to miss some good ole football! I do realize they will show some SEC games in Florida but its not the same.

I can't exactly see Sharon (my new grandma whom I'm staying with - she doesn't know she's my new grandma yet and I'm not going to tell her) rooting on Alabama with me while watching on her big screen. And, I doubt she will explain to me what happened, after I cheer but don't know what I'm cheering about.

You know, I will always be an Alabamian really. I want to be - surprisingly.

I'm trying to see everyone before I go, but I'm afraid I probably won't be able to see them all. Just know that this blog will be a great source to see what's going on in between emails and phone calls. I haven't posted a lot lately, with so much going on, but that will change once I'm all alone...with no one here to guide me....I'm alone! With no one here beside me......sniff sniff.
